Noah A. Phelps and Joel Saxton account book, 1796-1797.

Primarily accounts with Titus Barber, who took a trip to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in 1796, presumably as an agent for Noah A. Phelps and Joel Saxton and their company, based in Simsbury, Connecticut. Also contains accounts of stock each man (Phelps and Saxton) put into the company, including such items a cash, a saddle, a bridle, two mares, and one horse. The last two pages are a short diary of a trip from Philadelphia to Baltimore.
